Apart from the constant rain all day which seems to be the theme for the rest of the summer, the shoot itself went quite well.
I had met with Simon and Louisa two weeks before to talk about what sort of pictures they wanted and also to scope out the grounds of the church/hotel etc.
With all the outside venue shots completely waterlogged with the rain I had to improvise and use what I could in and around the Hotel. It definitely focus the mind and makes you think on your feet.
I'm Glad to say that they are very happy with the overall results, and praying the next one in a little over 3 weeks is a somewhat drier affair.
Some of the lessons I have learned so far from this module and indeed from last years, The art of photography have made me much better prepared to take on these tasks. I did enter into them with a little trepidation, but on the whole now feel quite relaxed about them.
This is the third wedding I have shot now and am feeling more and more confident with each one.
